I have a Brinsea Octagon. It's pretty much set and forget. And I just looked it up and they don't make that model anymore. Brinsea incubators are expensive but control temp and humidity better than styrofoam incubators. Plenty of people have had success with those, though.

Sometimes I just let the silkies hatch on their own, but many times I incubate and make the silkies raise them.

i was looking at the brinsea ones, I am not suer wat size I want, if I want 4 to 6 more hens I figure I should try and hatch 10, some may be roosters, some may not live,,
???????????

I always assume I'll get at least half as boys if not more. My incubator holds 21 silkie eggs if I have the dividers in properly. 32 if I really pack them. Yes that bunch all hatched just fine. I try and not do more than a hen can cover usually and that batch had 3 hens.
