Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I have shipped eggs from Meyer's, out of 20 fertile, I have 16, made it so far to day 16. due on the 9th. I have a couple of broody hens that will take over the raising chicks job. I set up some brooder spaces. I know how it goes, too.

One hen who is broody is a blue laced wyandotte, she is acting like a blob.

Have a great day,

I love my Brinsea Maxi 24. In fact I have two of them now as I got a second for Christmas. I've just loaded it up yesterday with 24 eggs for the first time (only done smaller hatches in the past). But they are pricey. My first incubator was a Magicfly off Amazon. The turning mechanism is useless in that, but if you don't mind hand turning it does a fine job. I also kept a separate thermometer in it to get better temp readings and we adjusted based on that. So more hands on by a lot, but a very workable way to hatch 9-12 eggs.
