Good morning State darn it is cold 24 up at 7:45 here.

It was 20 when I got up at 7:30!!! We're not used to it being so cold. DH had to replace all the waterers in the chicken run with fresh ones as they were frozen solid. They have one inside that doesn't freeze, but they love having water out in the pasture too. Up to 37 now so I don't suspect they will freeze again today. Tonight is another story.

The news said it was 22 in Seattle this morning and that it broke a record. My thermometer on the porch said 26 when I first looked at it just before 8. The sun is so welcome, I carried a bucket of water up to the chickens and they really enjoyed it!

We hit 13°. It didnt break 20° until around 9am

We hit 43 at noon here heat wave. Birds are having fun digging for bugs.

Hey how have you been? It's been a long time

We are doing fairly well. We still have chickend, a giant obnoxious dog and a hyperactive 7 year child, plus a elderly cat that is very healthy and drools like a St Bernard. How are you doing these days?

We have snow in the backyard, and still hit 100 degrees in the sun this afternoon.
we are living east of Toledo Wa, and riverfront to the Cowlitz River, just below the dams.

Wow You are closer to Valerie than me. We have to go get cat food forgot it the other day.
Now their container is empty.
29 here dry no snow.

Frozen waters again this morning, but it should start getting a little warmer now. Up to 30s at night after this, I hope. Been getting up to the 40s during the day, so that is nice. I put a bunch of straw in the orchard so the chickens have some dry places to stand. Well, there is no snow under the trees now, so they are in good shape.

Currently in pain because I looked outside without sunglasses on

10 or so degrees this morning, feels warmer than it had in a while though.
