Wilco in Kelso is getting them in regularly, but you need to call ahead and find out when they are expecting a delivery because they sell out in a couple hours. There is definitely a run on chicks this year.
I don't know about most places, but last week Wilco was getting them every day....and still selling out in a couple hours. I got there at delivery time one day and had to stand in line for half an hour to get 3 little chicks. There were at least another 20 buyers behind me. The only reason it takes two hours to sell out is it takes that long to get through the line!!
Yikes! There were literally hundreds of people in line at my co-op and they only had a few of three breeds left. Oh yes, Wilco was having that experience, but their breeder literally ran out of chicks and was sending them as they hatched.
The Farm Store across from Jeremy's just says they don't have any chicks if you call. No info on when they might get some, although I didn't pursue it with them since I found mine at Wilco.
