The diakon seeds I planted a couple days ago are already sprouting so I put them under a grow light. No tomatoes sprouting yet...

Chicks are happy to have their heating pad back. I have it set on LOW with a towel on top, and they like resting on it.

No local store had the black ceramic heater bulbs so I ordered a pair of 75 watt ones on AMZN. I'll use them outdoors when I get their brooding area set up, maybe today.

Only one egg yesterday, but already got 3 this morning. One was slightly cracked so I made some well cooked scramble out of it for breakfast.

And I bought snow pea seeds yesterday, will plant some of them this morning. Time to start putting seeds in raised bed #3.

My tomatoes are doing great.

Herbs too but I should have thinned them out.

And just three little bell pepper plants which will give me plenty for my marinara if they grow up strong.

Great looking plants! I opened up my bag of pine shavings and changed the chicks' home over. They sure like laying on that heating pad. And they're learning the joys of dust bathing now that they have the shavings to flutter around in.

Got a lot more peas planted too. Productive day.

Morning well headed to the hospital this morning.
They asked about as surgery to clean our his bladder there is a bug in it. They have not fed him as they think he will choke on it.
He was awake waiting for us.
He had apple sauce and water while I was there.
