Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

The tomatoes on the left, I planted the seeds first week of April and repotted April 11th. On the right seeds were planted April 22nd, and they're doing a lot better.

I either replanted the first batch when they were too small, or the dirt I put them in just sucked. I'm moving my new plants into 3" pots today.

Due to Welsummers not being available,, I had ordered leghorns.
WELL!! this morning I randomly thought,, "I'll check and see if any Welsummers are available.................
AND there were 16 females,

I snagged them and canceled the leghorn order

There's a feed store in Onalaska? Did I hear you say the one in Ethel is closed now?
It shows on the map that it's at least right next to Ethel, but its mailing address is Onalaska. It's just a block north of 12. I took the route up Jackson highway, onto Tucker, onto 12 and up Leonard road. It was a very nice country drive with great views of both Rainier and St. Helens.

And the same distance from my house as Tractor supply in Chehalis.
