I did an afternoon garden harvest since it was cool all day. More stuff in the freezer now and salads for several days.

And I'm making an Express Loaf of yeast bread in the breadmaker right now. It takes just an hour of kneading and baking after adding ingredients to the pan. It's not the best quality bread because it rises only once, but I needed bread for a sandwich for supper tonight.

The bread loaf wasn't pretty but it made a good bbq pork sandwich. Two actually. LOL

I'm beginning to think that one of my RIR pullets is actually a cockerel. What do you think? The first two pics are a pullet I think. Second pair of pics possibly a male. There's definitely a difference.

I do also I have 8 growing up from friend bought a few hatchery this year.
She brought me 6 straight run so 2 hatchery and her 6.

Oh yeah...looks like a little cockerel to me too. But I have been surprised before and one I thought was a cockerel turned out to be a pullet, so there is still a chance at this point.
