Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I decided to put the not-so-little chicks with the teenagers and hens. The chicks feel comfortable around the old hens but the teenagers still act a little aggressive toward them. Just a little pecking and chasing, nothing too bad so I think they'll figure things out.

The little cockerels, one at least, doesn't seem too intimidated by the New Hampshires. He gets pecked and chased and he goes back for more. LOL

One of the chicks was trying to peck greens out of one of the barred rock hen's beak when she was eating. The hen didn't care much. Fun to watch the action.

Sounds like they are figuring it out. There is always some posturing that goes on when you integrate. Perfectly normal behavior.

I have multiple animals. But birds, I have icelandic chickens, kikiriki chickens, emus, red golden pheasants, mandarin ducks, and jumbo quail. It's just a crazy hobby that exploded out of chicken math.
How did you come to have Icelandic chicken? Did you live there?
