Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I just candled the eggs again, day 12, 9 days to go. All nine eggs looked great inside with big shadows of the forming chicks and healthy looking veins.

Like last time I keep the humidity at around 42% average and the temperature ranges between 99°F to 100.2°F. I'll bump the humidity up to a little over 60% at lockdown.

This time I think I'll leave the chicks in the incubator until all are hatched out and dry.

Sorry to hear about the colds and apple tree, @pennyJo1960 . That is a lot to move, but in the mean time I can see chickens hopping all over the branches having a good time.

Last day of the cookie marathon. Well, it would be but we are thinking of making another pan of baklava tomorrow. We'll see how we feel after today.

The tree that fell is huge the neighbors have a huge machine might be able to get off the coop? No normal chain saw is going to cut that.
At least in my mind.
I'm so glad you have neighbors to help you out.

So we have 5 healthy pups total all white like their Mom Snow. I will add pictures in the message later. No eyes yet but sure know how to whimper to mom. 20251213_155438.jpg
