Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I have always used tables the newer coop had 2 x 4 board over the cinder blocks some have taken to roosting on them.
Mine love the 2 x 4 boards. They are up over sandboxes that are at 4 and 5 foot heights. They have ladders to go up to them, but often just fly/hop up. That being said, I do not have silkies, mostly Orpingtons of one variety or another. My fav's.

No Costco near me. I rarely drive further south or north than to Longview or Centralia. And I never got the Costco bug bad enough to pay money for a membership in order to shop.

Fed and watered the pullets and cockerels in the new run, and filled the big ones' feeder up with xCel All Purpose pellets. Gave them a lump of cold mashed potatoes I found in the fridge, maybe from Thanksgiving??? It didn't smell bad so the chickens got it. LOL

I remember Costco when the hotdogs were sold in a cart out front with a can of pop. Then they got in pretzels. Back when you had to meet certain requirements to shop there. When the one in Kennewick opened, Dad got a membership and Mom took Grandma and my Great Aunt when needed. They'd split the really big stuff.

Costco is 11 miles away here so we shop there regularly. Their Business Center is more like how the original Costco was. Also easier to get in and out but they don't carey items aimed at households. Mom gives me a shopping list for there before we come visit because they do carry things the regularl one doesn't.

Did my Christmas shopping today and filled the truck up with gas. Glad it's getting cheaper, paid $3.05 a gallon after 10 cents off from the Love's App.
Well, being a man, I would say you shopped early this year. 😁 Well, at least by a day.

BTW, if you drive to Centralia, Costco is only another 10 min up the freeway I think.
