Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

The chicks were still slinging crumbles out of the feeder so I'm trying something new. I added popsicle sticks.

Slinging food out of the feeders is what they do. We lose a lot of crumbles that way, but they do eat some off the ground too.

Adding the popsicle partitions to the feeder made all the difference in the world. No more crumbles are being tossed out now.

I put 5 eggs into the incubator that I'm pretty sure are all from my lone Rhode Island Red pullet. It's been a week or more since she's been in contact with the cockerels so they might/might not be fertile. Time will tell.

She's the only pullet that has been laying regularly since POL. The New Hampshire pullets pretty much stopped laying. They look sort of like they're going through a bit of a molt.
