The last picture here and the fourth one up are the funnest to me, I had to go in the other room, cause I started laughing and my husband was sleeping and yea, I don't laugh quietly!!! LOL!!!

I just posted in the new members section and was told to come here too.

Briefly: new to having chickens (new to country life for that matter). Bought a house near Yacolt, WA in July. Loving it! Learning how to care for the chickens we inherited with the property. Hoping to learn lots more on these forums. Slightly overwhelmed too.

Yep, and the rival of the University of Michigan. The backstory is that Julie and I both have Michigan relatives and we like the Buckeye breed but weren't sure how the family would take it. So we joked about putting little Michigan Ms on the chickens' backs so they would be "okay" to those folks. Just some lighthearted fun!

I'm so excited, I just ordered the last available quarter of beef from a farm of grass fed cattle in Ellensburg. Can't wait to get it! Should be done by the end of the month

He delivers to the wet side too!

Petsmart! You can look at sizes online and see which stores carry the one you want. I have the largest, which holds about 80lbs of chicken feed, and another smaller one that holds around 50lbs of scratch.

Yes my dear that's the point, we are originally from MI, we moved out here when I was 10. My parents moved back there a few years ago, and are still there, my dad is a DIE HARD Wolverine man, so it's kind of a joke!! Get it? One of the biggest rivals of the midwest is The Wolverines and the Buckeyes...... just sayn, LOL!

OK good...I was like "maybe it's a joke....or maybe not..." LOL
