Oh no... Was it her lab or her corgi? They are both very, very sweet dogs. They're going to be in the Key Peninsula area, correct?

Hello everyone - it's been a while since I've been here, well, on the other thread really.

Had some tests, blood work, MRI's, heart tests and all that kinda stuff. Then last week, rotator cuff surgery. I'm pretty much off the pain meds now (one at bedtime only). Not bad for only a week ago, but then I can't stand being zoned out from them. I can even type with the "recovering" arm a bit.

I have missed chatting here. My last THREE sets of eggs in the 'bator - not one hatched! Gotta get it seen too I think. I lost some very valuable eggs.

Well, time to go rustle up some dinner. I think it's duck legs tonight.

Hope everyone is well - chat more tomorrow!

Dog gone Kate... that doesn't sound like fun! And I'm sorry to hear about the 'bator eggs. Were the 18 barnies one of those 3 sets of eggs?
My little girl 'Betsy' is doing really well now. She doesn't lay a lot of eggs but they're very good sized, larger than the EE or Aussie's. She's gained quite a bit of weight and has feathered out a lot since I've had her, too.

Duck eggs... yummy! Have a good evening!

And the last one I haven't named, as I'm worried it might be a boy. The other LF SF, which is growing very dark feathers:

Jennifer

Awwww, so cute. That "tween" stage cracks me up where they look half chick, half chicken.

Well, I hope your unnamed chick is a girl, too! For you AND because my Latte's face looks more like your unnamed than your pullet Butter's face.

There have been times I have suspected Cocoa, Blackie and Rocha to be roos... but I have never considered it possible that Latte could be one. At least not until SadieSue's photos, followed by Latte and Blackie going at it today.

I thought, geez, 4 tiny chicks in a huge 39"L x 21W" brooder, and they have to chest bump and battle for space? Simply ridiculous. Blackie stands about a head taller than Latte, but Latte managed to win that battle.
