Did someone post a link for donating left over halloween candy to the troops?
We have a dentist in our building that buys back candy, then they just throw it away. I thought we could donate it, but I can't find anything local.

I recall that the dentist that was posted was in Monroe.

However - any dentist can register their practice here, or look up your zip code to see if any dentists in your area are participating.

When I put in my zipcode - it brought up five local dentists!

Is there a way to tell about how old chicks are just by physical appearance? When we got ours from the feed store, I forgot to ask them. We got them in Sept. from the new Wilco in Kelso, some of them were 1/2 off b/c they were getting old enough to escape from the brooders. We got our BSL for .50!! Anyway, they are all completely feathered out and are almost as big as the Bantam Am. that I got from CR over the summer. Just curious, I like to keep track of ages. Also need to post pics to see what ya'll think about the sexes.

Did ya get em during the grand opening or very close. IF so they are about 8 weeks.

hmm I thought that was for "emergency"s only?? Think of how the 911 system gets bogged down with calls that could be handled differently? just wondering, but thanks for the info
When I called the non emergency # in Seattle, I found out it's the same place as 911, but emergency calls get answered first.
