Look forward to meeting you. Just look for Iron Imagery with all the scrap metal. He should be able to point out many of these peeps. There are motels in Centralia/Chehalis. one is even the "host" and giving good rates. IF not booked up.

I understand besides sale birds there will also be a silent auction. This really intrigues me. Not sure how it works though. I'm bringing a good sized pet carrier complete with feed and water dishes and an extra cage with same. I also thought maybe to bring a wad of cash too! Hah!

I get the feeling this show will have a good turnout. I'm very excited!

I'd rather buy feed.

I would use that method if I it came down to it. I have mealworms going right now. And I sprout Mung beans for the chickens in the winter too. I would have to get more stuff going if we ever had a problem and couldn't get feed.

Usually these are breeders of show birds and are selling their "pet quality" or extras that they can't use in their breeding programs. So they are much safer than getting them from an auction. I would still quarantine but you should get healthy birds from the show.

Thank you Carolyn. When I told my kids they all thought I was nuts! Hah! I think they thought I would choose a weekend at some fancy schmancy spa place.

I will be wandering around with the husband on Saturday gawking at all the gorgeous show birds. Taking lots of pictures. I will be shy until finding my comfort zone. Then look out! It's meet, greet, and maybe shop time! I really need to get some buisness cards from some breeders and set up future field trips.
