Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Wow, lots of plants are being brought to Chehalis, that's cool!
Here's the list of stuff I'll bring to share:

- Liatris bulbs,
- some crocosmia (lucifer, the tall red ones),
- dahlia tubers (Japanese Bishop & maybe Bulah Ruth),
- maybe 1 or 2 starts from my lavender plants,
- a good sized thyme plant.
- some cilantro seeds
Plus anything else that gets dug up or divided by then.

Does anyone have a tarragon plant or mint to share, or seeds for Green Slam cucumbers?

We're driving down Sat. morning.

I can bring plenty of useless plants - evergreen huckleberries, blackberries, salal, some moss...

Actually - the chicks are handling it pretty well. It's Rhodie I'm worried about - that girl is trying to work herself into a heart attack over the tiny scary chickens.

They have a heat lamp sitting on top of the tractor - and they seem to be doing pretty well.

They're finally starting to move away from the door.

Isn't today Monday? I'll PM you an address. I'm on Benson Hill (The Renton end of the Benson Hwy) straight up the hill from Valley Medical Center.

Since there is no hurry this time of year, and I won't likely be headed into Seattle this week. I can offer that I need to go to Reber Ranch this week, so either Wednesday or Thursday I will stop by RR about 3pm to pick up feed. If I know in advance I will drive the truck that day.

You guys are so nice to go to so much effort for me. I keep telling everyone that chicken keeping people are the nicest people I've ever met...I've never met nicer or more helpful people in my life, and it makes me a nicer person as well

Russ-I can meet you anywhere in north Seattle, Northgate, Lake City, Lake Forest Park, Shoreline--anywhere you happen to need to go in the area.

Glad you laughed. I tend to forget that you folks get tons of rain. I haven't seen a drop in weeks, even though the hurricane brought rain everywhere else.

According to the USDA, this tree has not been documented in the NW. But that is not to say that it isn't there.
Anyone know of a good book for trees of the Pacific Northwest?

I use the Audubon Societies's Field Guide..(To North American Trees)...it seems easy to find the one you want to ID in this book.
