Thanks for the info....I never seem to have time....running after kids and cats and dogs and a husband. LOL. Why did they shut down the one site you where referring to?

We actually have some sunshine now, but we have had wind and rain off and on. I put clear Vizqueen (spelling?) around the North end and West end of the chicken run to try and keep it a bit warmer for my girls this winter. Now to figure out what to do with the top of the run. There is heavy-duty garden fabric (weed cover stuff). I am afraid the snow will rip it down.....not sure what to do with the top. Completely unsure. Any ideas out there....You guys always have wonderful ideas. Throw some my way. Buying plywood to cover it all would cost a small fortune.

hmmmm, wonder if they would take the big kid in as trade for plywood.

I so wish I could drive. I'd buy land then build everything from the free section just to prove I could build and furnish and etc for free!

Course then I'm the crazy one that wants to build either a cast earth house or a cob house...
