the
game cam we have, and it works great...we have learned to set it to look up or down a trail or fence line cuz as a digital it has a delayed snap, so if you set it up to look across a trail. the animal is often long gone by the time the camera snaps.
It is great for seeing the rats, possumms, racoons and other creepy crawlies that wander around your place at night...even yogis.
Chicken Rustler !
Your honey is awesome !!

Its a start.

So I am guessing that they will start to lay right around my birthday... Sometime in Mid November.

The two older pullets I brought home in May and they were 2 weeks old, the younger two were brought home in the beggining of June, and they were just under two weeks old... So the older two are 5 months old, and the younger are just under 5 months. So I would emagine that my impatients will be coming to an end soon.

I swear I'm gonna be

by the time they start laying. lol

I'm SO SICK of store bought eggs!

I told my mother to stop buying eggs and I would start giving her some since we are getting so many. She had forgotten how good fresh eggs are. Yolks that are hard to break and stir up. Whites that hold their shape and are not all watery. The eggs actually have a flavor. I don't want to hardboil them since fresh eggs can be hard to peel, but there is nothing better than fried or scrambled farm-fresh eggs. Also....they are so much prettier.

Now.....isn't this the thread that has a certain someone who has ISSUES with white eggs? Mine are all brown, but I know there are other pretty eggs too.

I will be right back!!!!!

Go through your channel line up and look for PUBLIC television station, you know, "Keeping up appearances" and "the red green show" cahnnel 9 is only one of the public sponsored TV stations, keep looking, and if we do not find it, them maybe it is just not being televised over there.ours is KCTS channel 9, see what you can find.
You need to look for a public TV station that subscribes that will get this program..so it may be on any channel from 8 to 13 on your direct TV or other...

put a little apple vinegar in the water. it makes them a snap to peel.
