Learned the hard way over 12 years ago with generators. You definitly get what you pay for.
If you only need it for your egg machine then go cheap and hope for the best.
But if you been thinking you are tired of losing food, quality of life through the long outages then spend the $$$ or you will end up sorry.
I bought two cheap ones before I spent $$$ on a Honda. Best investment I ever made.
When it's snowing out, raining hard, windy, what ever the conditions to know I can go out there and after 12 years still maybe two pulls at the most and starts right up it's great peace of mind.
Plus we barely hear it sitting right next to the house with no noise box.
We run computers, everything on it.
