I was in Korea in the late seventies. It was one of the last groups to go there. I was there for Park's assassination and Chun's coup d'etat.

With 156 chicks we are going to need to coordinate this event and pray that a few of us have really big bras.

I should have left Miss Snowball and Miss Inky stay broody. I already know that those 2 won't volunteer if comes to that. They are a couple of brats.

Bad math skills

Rainwolf; How old is the wafer in your incubator? I was getting hatches like that with an old wafer. We bought a new one and the hatch was nearly a 100% and that was using a old Hovabator. We also replaced the fan in it. I think it was the Rustler that explained what went wrong with the wafers. It was something about a liquid that spilled out or dried up.

Seriously, I'm not sure, I guess it'd be good if you did a search for a specific thread with the 'Vancouver WA thread' as the search criterium and see what comes up. Or ask the Oregonians since it's close to Portland. :shrug

Learned the hard way over 12 years ago with generators. You definitly get what you pay for.
If you only need it for your egg machine then go cheap and hope for the best.

But if you been thinking you are tired of losing food, quality of life through the long outages then spend the $$$ or you will end up sorry.
I bought two cheap ones before I spent $$$ on a Honda. Best investment I ever made.

When it's snowing out, raining hard, windy, what ever the conditions to know I can go out there and after 12 years still maybe two pulls at the most and starts right up it's great peace of mind.
Plus we barely hear it sitting right next to the house with no noise box.
We run computers, everything on it.

Ok so... this is a hatchery chick. was to be a white wyandotte hen. Well it does not look like a hen and has started trying to mount.
So is it a wyandotte? The comb looks wrong to me but I'm not sure.

sorry about the blurry photo. My buff orp roo was following me following the white roo so he was always running since Fabio likes to beat him up.
