106 feet and not a drop of water

They are going to try and perforate the pipe up by the ground water line (like where OUR well was getting wwater at 17 feet) and see if that does not fill up the casing...and hopefully not run out the bottom...there is nothing in there !
I am flabbergasted.
There is some wells in the area that went down 180 or more and came back dry on a 5 acre parcel, they drilled again in another spot which came up dry as well, then picked a third spot, and it produced 50 gpm at 37 feet...go figure !
I now have a $10K dry well hole

We can always pump it full of rain water and pretend it works

We'll see what happens from here.

pips&peeps :

I bet we're gonna have another recount year...............

Here's a great link for anyone interested in seeing a breakdown of last night's election results:

http://vote.wa.gov/Elections/WEI/Re...ctionTypeID=-2&ElectionID=37&ViewMode=Results

I found the percentage of voter turnout to be particular interesting. The police office at the library where I dropped off my ballot said it was a huge turnout this year. Snohomish County (my county) turned out 37% of the vote – slightly better than King County that turned out 34% of the vote. Pierce County however turned out 44% of the vote. It is King County and Pierce County that govern most of this state unfortunately. Interestingly enough, there are a few counties in WA that have a very high turnout rate. Columbia County for example turned out 81% of the vote.

I think the voter turnout is something to really look at this year. The pundits say mid-term elections don’t bring people out to the pulls. When I get time, I’m going to see if I can compare this year’s results with the supposedly huge turnout two years ago when Obama supposedly brought everyone out to vote. With an overall state turnout of only 40%, I have to wonder what would make anyone go to the polls? I mean, if the stuff that’s gone on the last two years and the importance of this election didn’t motivate people to go vote, what in God’s name would?

I know, that’s probably a rhetorical question.

God Bless,

I know what you mean Jean. If it hadn't been for 500+ dead people voting for Gregroire a couple of years ago, Dino would be our Governor today. I'm really hoping that doesn't happen again. Also, after looking at the voter turnout breakdown, I'm pretty well convinced that if he doesn't win this time, the only way Dino (or probably any Republican) would ever win is if the voter turnout in Eastern WA is up around 75-80%. Btw, I'm not a Republican if anyone is reading this and thinking I'm being partisan or something. I'm just saying that King, Pierce, and southern Snohomish county populace pretty well stacks the deck again them.

God Bless,

So I don't think my favs are going to make it.

I think the incubator (power-outage) issues did them in....but I wanted to say that the eggs showed great fertility!! The best I've seen yet in shipped fav eggs...

Oh and I'm not quite giving up on them yet--they still have another day or two but usually I at least have cheeping or something in there by now (even within the shells).
