Hey ! I found the pills I lost, wow, that was so weird, and so was quietly freaking, but all is well.
If I get my thyroid pills on the 4th...it is all OK but on the 29th for example then I run out before the next month's issue...but picked up the stuff and alll is well.
I was worried as DH was to be gone for a week and me alone here on the mountain, no trans.
OK, I have a question for dog people, most of you are...Justbugged, Ron B., Cheryl...You know I have Jack...he is half Great Pyranees and half Australian Shepard...he is gorgeous, and gentle will the birds and yes he has befriended a few who ventured IN to his dog house to have lunch with him...

yum they love dog food~~~
And Jack is about 8 or 9 months, he has his adult teeth, and about 60 pounds.
So, my Q is: after venturing to every feed store within 50 miles...what is good dog food for this dog ?
I do not want the first 2 ingredients corn or wheat, and as DIY said, not soy as a first 2 ingredient either, also cannot afford the wild alaska salmon dog food...wowzwers on the price of that stuff...so what is a good dog food, at a decent price ?
I gotta cook dinner but will come back~~
A good question for the chicken rustler:::with that awesome dog, have you found any good dog food ?
I was wishing Patriot Farms made dog food too !

Thank you so much Chickielady! I see you're raising a couple of the breeds I'm looking for!

(Really wanting beautiful dark brown eggs, and blue eggs) I will be watching the messages here as we get closer to building our coop. I am SO looking forward to acquiring our pretty girls this spring. I appreciate the welcome!

I have picked morels with a person of knowledge....and they were so good...yum. I never eat any wild mushrooms that I don't know...I can't tell the difference. All I know is that sauteed in butter and garlic....fantastic.

REgarding cat food: Okay, I thought someone had said something about it bad given to chickens. ....so I thought I would check.

So, long day today, and look what I get to end the day off and relax with! My new Buff Ameraucana pair from Pips&peeps!

SADIESUE Welcome to our E-ZOO. FYI when you build yer coop plan big. We were only gonna have 6 hens. Next thing I knew we had 16 so I expanded. Then somebody offered us a couple more. WE now have

25. I am thinking of expanding so they have more room but an fearful that will lead to more chickens. I also "just had to have" a couple banties. well we ended up with 6 so I just added 616 sq feet of outdoor run for them and now I am hearing look they have so much room we could get a few more.

Dog food is easy to make if you have a butcher close by...
can give ya info for that if you do.

I have to use lamb & rice dog food for my kelpie as she is allergic to wheat. I used Iams for the last 10+ years.
ingredients to Lamb/rice
Lamb Meal, Brewers Rice, Corn Meal, Ground Whole Grain Sorghum, Corn Grits, Chicken By-Product Meal, Ground Whole Grain Barley,
Chicken Fat (preserved with mixed Tocopherols, a source of Vitamin E), Dried Beet Pulp, Chicken Flavor, Dried Egg Product, Potassium Chloride,
Brewers Dried Yeast, Salt, Dicalcium Phosphate, Monosodium Phosphate, Caramel, Choline Chloride, Fructooligosaccharides,
Minerals (Ferrous Sulfate, Zinc Oxide, Manganese Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, Manganous Oxide, Potassium Iodide, Cobalt Carbonate),
DL-Methionine, Vitamins (Vitamin E Supplement, Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin A Acetate, Calcium Pantothenate, Biotin,
Thiamine Mononitrate (source of vitamin B1), Vitamin B12 Supplement, Niacin, Riboflavin Supplement (source of vitamin B2),
Inositol, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (source of vitamin B6), Vitamin D3 Supplement, Folic Acid), Calcium Carbonate, L-Lysine Monohydrochloride, Citric Acid, Rosemary Extract.

Not the best out there but its what I can afford thats halfway decent since I do not live by a butcher.
