About 99% of the people I've seen never even LOOK at their dog eggs, they look the other way when the dog lays it's egg, thereby they do not have to pick the here say egg up.
There for "What egg?"

Who is the frieght carrier and are they coming from that SoCal guy ?
I hope they are OK !
How long does it take ?
I am interested if I ever ship a bird, I thought you had to drop the birds off at a major airport and be at YOUR major airport to pick it up.

When were they shipped? isn't it supposed to be overnight or 1 day? I had some birds shipped from Arizona, they were shipped on a Monday and showed up Wednesday morning. They came right to my local PO. They called me when they got there and went and picked them up.

Seriously 3 days with no food or water ?
Chicks yes, but adult birds can't live too long with no food or water..or left in a freezing truck...wow/

I second that. I have a big commercial account on the water in the city of Gig Harbor and there are boxes all along the sidewalk with bags for people to pick up their dog 'eggs'. My pet peeve is weeding this account and cleaning up beds and stepping in or 'weeding' a big egg. Ya know, they look down their noses at us 884 people but at least we know how to clean up after our animals. The bags are right there in front of them and they still think they are too good to use them. I have to say I have some great customers though. They are pretty good about cleaning up their lawns before I mow. They know "I don't do dog doo".

OK, another weird deal here:
I found this weird rock out on our property here...it has a definite shape, it has 3 sides smashed together like they were made with an ice cream scoop...and the 'top' has a bloom like shape to it.
I took several photos so the shape could be seen, it is not poop.
My daughter says it is dino poop, but this has a shape as if it is a fossilized seed pod.
It is not a geode either, I have looked at alot of geodes, none have this 'seed pod' shape.
Does anyone rock hunt and know what this is ?
I tried to contact WSU geology about it but could not get an answer.

the 'rock'

the 'rock' with a large naval orange (they are buds

)
and these are geodes...so you can see the shape is not the same.

OK, what is it ?

They were brought to the PO in the late afternoon right before the trucks left for the day and they called first thing Wednesday morning so it was more like a day and a half. The birds were in good shape and they sent oranges and cantalope with them. Normally it would be overnight but the person I bought them from was in a remote area. They were shipped early summer and the PO also will not ship if the temps in either place are over 90* I think it is. Temps at the time were right at 90* down there and we had 80* and the Horizon shipping boxes have plenty of ventilation.

Steady drizzle here in north Seattle.

i think an aggregated quartz rock. picture quality is not really good enough to go beyond that. otherwise it could be a manmade aggregate rock leftover from past construction.
its not a geod or thunder egg. and if you are still not sure. take a hammer to it and check. it doesn't look like fossilized poo. i seen dino poo. its brown, normally flat. and smells old like other fossils.
oh try putting that in water, see if it sinks or floats. the helps narrow it down more, though i looks like it will sink....
