yea I live on top of one of the foothills... I am on 60 acres up on one of the mountains that make up Roers pass where highway 2 bends north of Spokane and heads east into Newport.. pretty here... too much snow right now... just more to come..

and I need to evict my leghorn teens to the coop... house is stinking...

It is pretty there, I know exactly where you are.
I bet it is really ,really pretty now with the snow !

I lived on the Little Spokane river, off of E. Euloyka Rd. I loved it out there, but family brought me back west.

I am about 5 miles north of there. Eloika lake is nice but wouldn't want t eat the fish out of there...

I have a question about these shows....are there people selling chicks there or what? I've never been to one.I would like to go to the one this weekend but I have plans.I would like to get more chicks in a month or so but I'd like to get another coop built for them.One of my daughters would like to join 4H but I have no idea where to start with it and until the holidays are over I have very little time to give up.

Sounds like the north end coffee meet needs to wait until January.
No problem; I, too, am very busy this time of year. (But not too busy to put lights on the coop

)

However, I really hope we can get together in January.
I'm a CPA - and an avid gardener - so my Spring is even busier than the holidays!

I think Cheryl has moved around almost as much as I have !! Wish you could come to the show Cheryl !!!
Mother's fiance indeed...so what ?!?!
And why can't you come 1 day and have a party for her boyfriend the following day or et ?
Bummer...I will take as many pictures as I can.
However, I will not be there Sunday and that is when awards are given, so I cannot take photos of the winners...can I ?
Is judging on Saturday ?
I also have zero time to go back through posts today, I am going to go get a haircut at a real beauty shop (first time Yuck yuck !!!)

Anyone need me, PM or e-mail or call...I am going to try to meet CR and Scott @10-11 AM...Saturday at the show...see you then !!!!!
I will be the one wearing a hat cuz of the weird haircut !!!

Pretty but deep.. been working for 4 days to get our snow blower truck outta the ditch... can't even get it out with a backhoe kinda annoying....

TOMORROW is the poultry show in Chehalis at the fairgrounds!!! I can't wait

I've never been to a poultry show before. My boys are like, "mom... really? do we have to go???" and I'm all like, "yes!!!!" hehe. They're gonna like it anyway. There will be some cool chickens they've never seen before, I'm sure... I'm so excited!!
