My very first horse was 16 hands. I used to swing up on him bare back. Went to summer camp one year and they had some draft horses. My best friend told the Wranglers I could swing up on them bare back and they didn't believe her so they told me to prove it. The look on their face was priceless when I swung up on one of them. Did you ever ride like the wind on the trails, bareback, shorts and bare feet? We were so dumb and fearless then, but we had soooo much fun. There was nothing better than riding back then. We went everyday all summer. OK, enough nostalgia, makes me cry. I'm getting old. Even try to get the junior rodeo kids to get on my green horses for the first few times as at my age, it hurts more when you fall and it takes longer to recover.

Me too, girlfriend...It does not stop me from wanting to just get together and go for a nice trail ride with friends, but I am far away from that...maybe someday we horse women(and men) get together and arrange a ride ?

and no he is not a monster, I saw him, I talked to you, I watched your son carry him around (or someone's kid) and he is not a monster....He is medium.

Unless you get IDEAL's line, they are all single combed RIR?

Because the white's recessive in the Chanteclers...an attempt to isolate the crele gene in this roo...

I sold this one for $70.00. That is for the bell, the post mount bracket and the sun. Yes I can make them with a chicken. Maybe we could get RonB to post a pic of the chicken I made him. I can also do yard / garden signs. I have also also made memorial plaques for police K-9. I was also very honored when I was asked to make a memorial plaque for some friends infant grand son. They had bought several pieces of my work and ask if I would do that. I felt very honored that some one thought my work was good enough for something so special.

You are obviously very gifted and you would probably do very well starting or expanding? a business. Maybe doing this already small scale but with marketing and getting the word out you would do great. Why not do it full time now that you are out of work? I want a bell to hang off my tack room porch!

OH. I see. That will be awesome if you can get some more of those pretty creles! That is one of my favorite colors in poultry! Crele favs?

I have always been interested in Chanteclers from a cold-hardy and possible meat bird perspective but wasn't sure about their size or egg laying? I am on the hunt for a cold-hardy, good egg laying breed that I could also use as a meat bird (extra roosters). I suddenly have people wanting about 10 dozen eggs per month and my poor little rare breeds couldn't keep up with that! LOL

That is why I suggested you look at these wyandotte X Cuckoo marans pullets I have

it is funny, but she has it all.

Back you will see a cuckoo X white wyandottes with a rosecomb...LOL...she is yours if you want her.

Ideal does not carry Rhode Island Whites (they're a crossbred lie of a mutt) and, umm, that comment just didn't make sense.
