TerrieLacy, I wish I could make it over that way. Sounds like a great time and I'd slap one of those bumperstickers on the truck while I was there!

For all the rest of y'all, just a reminder that tomorrow is the last day to get kittens from me if you or anyone you know is looking for some. I'll be sending them along with some kids from the church to sell at their World's For Sale event that starts tomorrow if I don't have anymore takers.

Also, I'm pretty much out of juvenile chicks and adults for sale. Still have a couple but not many. However, I've got some Ameraucana and Welsummers that are supposed to hatch out tomorrow. And then another batch in a week.

Finally, I still have several guinea keets left. Starting next week, the price goes up on them. You can get them through the weekend for $5.

The peachicks should be ready to go in a few more weeks.

We posted ads on bulletin boards and Craigslist and here on BYC, but with no luck, so our cockerel went to live with extended family.

However one of the co-ops said that they might be able to take him once they were able to sell more chicks and make some room, so that's always an option for some of you who are having troubles rehoming your roosters. You might also try some of the animal shelters.

I am in Redmond on Novelty hill. I have 7 hens, 1 rooster and 8-10 week old pullets. They are a mix of Dominiques, Americaunas, Rhodies, Buff Orpingtons, black sex links and one fuzzy footed Brahmas. I also have horses and a dog.
