Ours is a little 18' fifth wheel that has been converted to bumper pull. which gives me a 5'x7' deck to put my quad on. We always stay at the RV park right across from where the go cart track was. If ya haven't disovered it, when in Westport try "The Inn at the West Wind for food. It is right across the street from the old coast gaurd just look for the huge flag.

This is my first time having chickens and I'm loving it. I never dreamed my girls would have such sweet personalities!

Hi,
Just a fast update with my son on his last year at the King County Fair. He did pack with his goats and came in first on all of his class's, plus the big suprise he got the Sportsmans award. Thats the one Im proud of he worked so hard with the other kids.
If you didnt make it to the fair your missed a good one, I think they are heading in the right direction with it now. It was great.
Now to get back some of my sleep I lost.

Ironimagery~When is your next trip to the Dunes? We are hoping to go August 13th for a long weekend. A couple years ago we sold our very old 21.5 foot fifth wheel and bought a used 28 foot Toyhauler/fifth wheel off of Craigslist. I love it, we can haul 4 quads and a kid quad and all our gear. Even though there is just the two of us now, we have slept as many as 10 for the weekend.

For those of you thinking of a trip to the coast, this weekend will be Harley Weekend in Ocean Shores the place will be hopping and the weather is supposed to be great!

Zgoatlady....congrats to your son - what a great way to end his 4H career! We have so many great memories of our 4H days.

Hey guys... sorry I've been somewhat absent. I have a house guest for two weeks in from Canada, and all my internet time is being taken up with that!

I spent the weekend playing tour guide, traversing Ape Caves and exploring Volcanoes. We still don't have the coup done! *dies* Brownlikewoah, I'm definitely interested - and I'm a good home, but the coup definitely needs to be done first! We're a week or two out from that (the guest leaves next sunday - so it might be more like two!).

Iron... again, love your bells. If you get material for a small one, can I get on a waiting list for one? I know you don't have the stuff for them right now - but you said you might possibly get some in the future. I want you to know I saw some bells like you make down at Tsaug... gosh that big nursery in Woodland (these were super giant huge ones), and I still think yours are a lot neater.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I've missed BYC!

Anne We are heading out Thursday at Oh dark thirty. I am walking around kicking rocks to keep occupied so I don't jump in and get stuff loaded too early. Don't want the weight setting on the truck that long. If you would like to see it I will try to remember and PM or e-mail ya a pic of our setup when I get it all hooked up. Then in 2 weeks we are going to Westport.

DHG Thanks for the

I think I may have to try to find a better source for the small ones as I have several people who want them. I want to try cutting some Japenese writting in some and see how that goes. I would also like to do some siloets (sp) out of stainless added on and leave the stainless polished but need to get some added equipment for that.

Hello all- We are waaaay up in the corner near Bellingham! Looking forward to seeing all the chickens at the Northwest Washington Fair next month!

We have 3 RIR hens and white leghorn/silver laced Polish crosses with 10 days to go in the bator. It's our maiden voyage with hatching! The kids are getting so into it! Can't help but think about what to put in there next...

Ugh.. its supposed to be in the 90's today. I don't look forward to this today at work on all that cement. I've got panting chickens already, and its only eleven. I'm glad I let them all out to free range before it got too hot today. I think I'm going to break out the sprinkler (hop through it!) and water the squash so the gals have some place to chase worms.

I also had to move my lawn chairs today. My EEs have learned to hop up onto the back of them to graze on my hanging baskets. Smart girls.

Yikes--Has anyone here heard the weather report for this weekend? It is supposed to get up around 100 degrees in the Seattle area! That means us here in the south sound may well be over 100. I've got to bone up on how to cool off your chickens, and get them all shoved into their new big coop. What happened to that "maritime cooling"?
