Wow, thats sad. We had a vet around here that hurt a lot of peoples horses. He got sued then went into small animal practice. Don't know where he is now. We are really lucky we have a great vet 5 minutes from our house. He's primarily equine but I've seen people haul llamas and goats to his place. He'll take care of routine stuff for our dogs too. He's very smart and stays on top of the latest stuff. He will also let me mow his place to work off a vet bill and now my son works for him so he gets some perks too. I don't know what I would do if he wasn't there. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can call him for anything. I've called him in the wee hours of the morning when a horse has been in labor a few times. He just laughs, calms me down and then walks me through it over the phone. He tells me to just help her a little to get the foal past that difficult spot and I keep insisting that there must be a leg stuck, what if I rip her open? He just says there is no leg stuck, everything is fine, its just a big foal. So I pull down like he says and it pops right out. He's always right! How does he know that for sure everytime over the phone? Anyway, I'm rambling and there is probably no one out there. Hey it's Christmas Day! Merry Christmas everyone! Have a great day with friends and family.
Could you please PM me the name of this Vet? If you still have it. I would greatly appreciate it!
Happy Holidays!
