On a funnier though more gross note. I almost face planted in the manure pile this afternoon...
The bottom of that hill is slipery and muddy, for the first 6 feet of incline... Got a running start with a full load, made it three steps up the hill and hit mud. Wound up catching myself on the wheelbarrow. I thought it was funny, and was OH so glad I was alone.
Yep thats right, I get to push loads of manure up a hill! Yeay for me! I can't wait until they bring a tractor out to push it all back farther up the hill...

I just checked out of the """Rare and heritage poultry"" forum...crap, all they do is argue about what IS and what is NOT a heritage breed, %$#^&&**( and any input from an obvious female is repeatly blown over like I am invisible.
But in the realization, they are not doing anything to help me nor my heritage flocks so
I have select oldtimers I adore and enough brood stock and chicks and birds coming in to keep me busy so
to the heritage bird forum.

Well, looks like tomorrow I'll have a lot of culling and "calking" to do. . . . Really need to get an actual "freezer camp" going and I also really, really need to get rid of all this mud, or at least the stuff in the barn. . . . It really is so terribly icky and wet and deep.

I am doing extremely well, and so do not need to listen to argueing on the so called heritage thread or any other.
I really do not think I could be doing any better than I am, I have fantastic broodstock coming in from 4 different way old timers...and I coerrespond with them daily, I have my sop, I have my backers, I am very pleased.
What on earth do you think I need to get better ?????
Cheryl hope you ae OK...I know what you mean when chilled and you cannot get warmed up again...hugs to you, and will talk later
