I am curious how many of you Google Toad Suck Arkansas to see if it was real.

It's definately real. There is or was a BYC member from there. I once asked her if it was real town. She said it came from the steamboat crews sucking on bottles at the local taverns, when the water was too low to continue. "They sucked on the bottles 'til they swelled up like toads". She was nice enough to send me a postcard from Toad Suck.

Thanks CR!! LOL Well, my state's thread is lame-o, that's why I'm here! LOL

They estimated me to be at 6wks and 2 days gestation...I got to see the heartbeat which was at 120bpm. It is the size of a lentil or so....

Very exciting! And so many of us experience pregnancy differently - I never had any morning sickness, just occasional heartburn. My daughter was very polite in that she never kicked me so I was uncomfortable, but I SO loved the feeling of her moving around, doing flipflops, etc. It was especially fun during the last month when every day after lunch *she* would get hiccups for several minutes afterwards and you could watch and feel every little "hiccup". Amazing. She was and is a great baby. Easy pregnancy, slept through the night at 5 weeks, and now on the President's Honor Roll her first semester of college. It's as if I made a wish list and got it all - Dream big Heather and congratulations! Best wishes for an easy and healthy pregnancy...

Thanks....when I got to see the heartbeat it was pretty cool...just a white flashing "light" sort of...but still, a heartbeat...it's so weird to think that another person is GROWING in my uterus! LOL

I really enjoyed being pregnant. My pregnancies were not that uncomfortable, all out front so not a lot of pressure. Some people hate it but I thought it was just the neastest thing, that life growing and moving around. Towards the end it got a little old but only because I was dieing to see what they looked like and hold them. I guess if they had been up in my lungs or carried really low sitting on all my innards it would have been different. Congrats, and enjoy the ride.
