Oh I remember how every weird smell, even so familiar smells would set of the gagging...I had to quit Architectural classes because of the smells and puking first thing in the morning.
I love being a mom, but I was not a good pregnant person. Even a photo of a hamburger was enough to make me puke! (which made it all the more bothersome as I knew it was psychological, yet I had no control over it.) A co-worker was pregant the same time (babies born 3 days apart). I hated seeing her skipping through the halls at work, eating anything she wanted. I carried a bucket with me wherever I went and used it often. It all evened out though, Alex was a piece of cake as a baby ... slept through the night from day 1! He did not have a temper tantrum until he was nearly 3 and it lasted less than a minute. Her baby was a screamer! I never met someone who threw more tempertantrums! By 2 weeks, Mom was wishing there was a way to push her back in. At 18 months when her husband was on a business trip, she called 911 because she could not get DD to stop yelling and she thought she was going to have a nervous breakdown. (If you do this they will immediately send out multiple emergency vehicles to your house ... paramedics, the sheriff, CPS .... she was not even off the phone yet, and they were already pulling up, and she lives out in the middle of nowhere!) Her baby is now 12 years old, beautiful, good natured, well-balanced. You'd never suspect she was such a handful.
