CGG - I'm so sorry for your loss. Your birds were gorgeous! The print looks canine, though I'm not sure one could open the door. Last summer, a guy about 2 mi down the road from me (and downhill next to the river) had something break into his coop 3X and decimate the birds. Most vanished without a trace. 3rd night he saw it, and thinks it was a mink, (or maybe a martin or fisher). I did not think there were supposed to be any left around here, but we do border the Seattle Watershed, and that area is full of wildlife as it has not been open for hunting, trapping, or even hiking for nearly 100 years. About a week later, some of his hens were found wandering around up here ... 500 feet higher in elevation and 2 miles up the road! I'm hoping some of yours made it out alive and will show up again when they are a little less traumatized.

I thought there was a Stevenson show in spring? . . .

Was I really thinking Monroe?

Guess I'm doing what I can to go to Monroe then. . . oh boy.

Yep, 3rd weekend in April every year. The website might not be updated because they are redoing the whole thing. If you PM me your email add, I will forward you the show catalog. Same for anyone else that needs it...

I'd like to go to the Monroe show just to see all the birds and to meet anyone who's going. I live about a 45 minute drive away, and have 2 guest rooms that I'd be happy to let people stay in, no charge. (okay, one very nice room, and a converted closet with no window but a comfy twin bed ).

I'll buy the Light Sussex!

Of course that means my lil back yarders will prolly be knocked outa the water, but boy is it gonna be neat to see all those beautiful birdies!

The Fall one will be a Very Big Deal for Seramas too--so all who are interested in Seramas--should plan to attend.
