I have several clean legged Cuckoo Marans pullets that will need rehomed.
I am keeping the feather legged ones.
Hopefully these girls will lay Jumbo medium dark chocolate like their Mom's do.
Will talk about it later, I got to get ready to go to CRs !!

Let's talk...I still have to try and get caught up with the thread. My only problem is how to get them over here.

Check your threading and use a brush to clean the lint out of all the doors and openings. Do you still have the instruction manual. while you're at it give it a good oiling. Especially delint it if you do lots of fleece...

I followed all the arrows and put the threads through all the loops.

Instruction manual?? Hmmm...long gone.
Maybe I should vaccume the thing.
Thanks for the pointer.

Well, my first quilt was hand-sewn, so it's definitely possible. Of course, it took me over a year......

Try some very good quality thread. Also, perhaps the bobbin is out of tension sync?

My wonderful husband let me buy a very expensive machine that I immediately got a 5-year service warranty on, so it goes in every year whether it needs it or not just because

No...I won't do that to you...tomorrow I mean.

We will make arrangements and I will get birdies one way or another.

You guys have fun. My DH and oldes DS just left for Tacoma for the Wrestling State tournament. My son is ranked 7th in the state, for his weight....needless to say, he is a bit psyched and keeps smack talking all his competition. We will see how he does with all these "big boys".

No I sold the one Light Sussex pullet I had...I'm going to the Monroe show next month and I can transport chickens back here if I need to.

I am such an enabler.

Well, they are still talking about the chicken ordinance in Spokane. I a glad I don't have to worry about that.

If I have missed a post directed towwards me...I apologize. I am really behind...only on page 2019. I hope to catch up tonight. Long days of work and then getting DH and oldest DS ready to leave for State Wrestlng tournament has filled my evenings.

I love all the photos of the quilts...they are absolutely wonderful.....

I am amazed at the skill.

Hope all are doing well. No snow here, but it was good and frosty this morning. Everyone has started laying here again...now up to 5 to 7 eggs a day.

Got mice in the hen house AGAIN....I will get more of those sticky traps and put in there...they seem to work well. Little applesauces.

Nest month is even better - all the warmer out....Oh my...wish I could go...I would get myself in so much trouble though. I will keep in touch with you Heather. Sorry I missed out on your hen, but I am glad she has a new home. Maybe another time.

My vote is for the nicest birds you can afford.
droolin.gif

I bought hatchery birds last year and they were great.
love.gif

Then I bought 2 adult show Q birds
ep.gif
.. made my hatchery bird look like a different breed.
lau.gif

They are the best! I love how they look & I know that if I get hatching eggs from them, the babies will look beautiful as well.
The price difference in my case? $0
...and if you like chickasauraus birds, CL has them.
