and it will be late so we will not be there long but to drop eggs off with her Mom, and maybe DH can take a quick look at the kitchen sink...

BYC peeps sounds great, but in case Rob says no to using "BYC" then just "GOT PEEPS?" would be good too!
I want glitter letters, old ladies like that sort of thing.

Technically, since said person, whom shall remain nameless, had chickens before the new rules, he or she should be grandfathered in- including the rooster

How many of you home school your kids?

We use the K12 curriculum. We have tossed around the idea of using something different when we get out there.

I've thought about it. I have many friends that homeschool. I also have several friends who use the Washington Virtual Academey and they are all very pleased ... best of both. Only thing is they feel ostrasized by other members of a homeschool group they joined because they are not truly homeschooled. I think homeschooling is quite common here.

My neighbor and very good friend(like a sister)uses WAVA and I just pick and choose to put something together. I also put together the HS group activities for my church. We all have different kinds of styles yet respect, support, and love each other just the same. If I had felt ostracized in the beginning, I might have quit because I often felt overwhelmed. We just need to support each other and let others know that they have options.

Yeah, I forget she works weekends. How 'late' is late?

Oh probably be in the 5 or 6 o'clock area, and we will have a 3 hr drive ahead of us, and get here LATE and have birds to coop up, dog to feed, car to unload and be generally eggs-hausted.
I hate getting home late, with coops open...
