So just to make sure I have my bearings straight... When I get my eggs in the a.m., I acclimate them to room temps for 24 hrs pointy side down air sack up and then into the bator they go. Am I right?

Yep, just make sure you have water in the incubator and it's been up to temp for atleast 4 hours before you put them in, and then don't touch it for atleast 2 more hours after that.
Small, tiny adjustments after that.............Alittle is big when coming to incubation.

I was really hoping to go the Monroe Chicken show, but my DH has an aunt that is having her 90th B-day party. I really dont even know anybody that will be there.

So not really excited about going. Much rather go to the Chicken Show.....

Great looking plants, Broodytood. Wouldnt mind having some. I love perenials.

CR I want one of your bells that you make. PM me and let me know how much one would cost. If you do make me one there is no rush. Maybe a month from now.

Hasnt snowed her in a couple hours and it doesnt feel to cold out, so we will see what tomorrow brings.....

As for not knowing anyone at the chicken show in Monroe, that's where I hope to meet alot of BYC people.
I only know a 1/2 dz of us. Hoping to triple that?

Olliecatch, you are so close to me, if you are not going to the show we can always make other plans to meet up for flowers. We come up to Costco on a regular basis.

If anybody sees a 3-4 cubic ft glass door wine cooler or mini fridge, I'm looking for a project piece. I love to build stuff and the homemade bators have caught my eye. I want to try to do it.
I'm watching C's list and put it on Halls best buys on our local radio station. The thing doesnt even need to be working cause im going to gut it anyway(so I don't want to pay an arm or a leg) Wishful , I know. Just got to be patient I suppose.
