x6. Wishing she can at least find a diagnosis.

edited to change multiplier as I finally caught up on the posts

I wonder if she or her doctors have checked her for Lyme.
Because it is not considered common here in WA, doctors usually don't even check for it. My DH's co-worker has lyme and so does my son's best friend. Folks get very tired, need to just sleep for 20+ hrs and might look like they have some kind of flu. Tehy typical ring rash is not that typical and we might not see it if the bite is behind us. (50% of the time.)
Detected early, antibiotics can get rid of it, but that is the key. It needs to be detedted early.
The symptoms vary and doctors will point their fingers on Thyroid glands or something before Lyme.

Ooh, hey that's a really good point! Amy Tan, author of The Joy Luck Club had lyme disease, and it took them about three years to finally diagnose her. By that time it was months and months of medications, but she started feeling better right away. And T Hi needs to ask for ALL the tests, not just the elisa.

I will probably take you up on that. I don't think we have the right tools. I will look around and see, plus I need to come see your new girls.

DS outgrew a nice pair of Asolo hiking boots. Mens size 13. I asked everyone I know around here and no one else I know has feet that big. If you would like them, PM me your address, and I will send you the boots.

Based on what I think I remember CL saying. Look for your biggest bird then make the hole so that bird can get its head in with out rubbing.

hey that is one size away form Phelps.
Does he swim???

He wears a 14 now (and he's only 12)...

He loves to swim, but I can't get him interested in joining a swim team. He was once a very good swimmer too. I showed videos of Phelps, even showed that he has the same issues paying attention at school, and he has the same build too (Alex is over 6'1" now). Just can't get hime interested. Too bad, ever since he started swim lessons as a toddler, it seemed like it should be his sport. He prefers soccer and wrestling.

Can't get the kids interested in basketball either ... the beautiful hoop sits unused on our driveway. DH and I sometimes use it, but not the kids.
