Woo Hoo!!!!! .... so they aren't going to take 8 months to look at the plans before they decide "No, you can't build that!?" (We were lucky when we built our place, but I have heard horror stories).

My Brinsea mini advanced came today. Now, if the brabanter eggs come next week like they're supposed to, I'll incubate half, and have Rainwolf incubate half. Don't want to put all my eggs in one incubator.

Our broody Silkie Momma has a chick!!! The single BLRW egg we had going in the incubator earlier this month that we stuck under her has hatched! Whoooooo hoooooo!!!

I had all but given up on her as I checked Saturday and there was nothing, no pips even. I didn't check yesterday though, and today there is a tiny little fluffy but peeping under her!!!
So cool!

What one did you get? They are supose to be great. Put the eggs in and it taps your shoulder when they are done.

My hen that was sitting on eggs got up last week so I put them in the incubator and last night I started smelling them.. Oh never had that happen before all of them were gone but the worst is I was picking one up and it broke in my hand..

oh I was made. But did have to laugh. Glad it was in my hand and not the incubator...
