Hey everyone, hope you all made it through the night..we are fine, blew the power steering hose off the van and goo went all over & DH says we have to do new brake shows as well cuz that goo soaks in & will riun the brake pads...I DO NOT CARE!!!
Washing Machine works after the freeze dispite my telling DH to please put a heat lamp in the shed..BUT it keeps filling up and won't stop even when you turn the machine off !
Yippee !
Brand new state of the art electronic water level and it is BUSTED thanks to no ounce of prevention.
BUT I don't care !
Un moth balled the 1972 Impala, wiped the mold off the steering wheel & off the building & planning with my barn plans and got them submitted, and get this:: In Pacific County, NO AG building requires so much as 1 inspection, AND the building permit is free.
BUT I told them we will be working in the barn breeding poultry, and having an office & rest room..so they call that an AG 2, like a salal processing barn, it is AG but must be inspected to have human occupancy & signed off before occupancy.
So I said OK!
Cost is about $525 for permit, and all inspections, site inspection was done a year ago..so once it is done, and signed off as safe to occupy, we can finish the interior, and move in & put the birds in this little barn!!!!!!!!
Feed, egg packing stuff, and brood pens in this little barn that we are in now !!
So I wrote the check, and had to go to the bank to transfer funds my savings & DH's into my account NOW, we have to go stake the site.
We waite for the bldg inspector to review our plans and change or explain what he wants us to, or contact the engineers at Barnplans.com...and once signed off and the rain slows a bit, we can get the contractor up here to start the dang blasted foundation!!!
Now you know why I do not care about the van or washing machine.
So gotta run, hope we do not have any more hurricanes tonight, it was blowing 45 MPH & gusts to 60 here last night....
OK, later guys !!
I guess my Mr Goodwrench has already had a hydraulic hose made and fixed the van..wow, took him about 30 minutes, including the trip to town to get the hose made, reminds me why I keep him around !!
