We often visit the people we know when they are in the hospital so that they don't have to look at nurses and Dr's all day long. Thought maybe some chicken chatter might help him feel better. I realize he doesn't know me from Adam. So, no, I am not a stalker.

Just thought since I am close, I could do sumpthin nice for another fellow human being.

Update on the coop building. After the guys started a couple of weeks ago, my husband got sick, then the snows and rain came, so all we have is cement blocks and a bunch of wood laying around. But I bought 'em drinks the other night at the casino and started coop chat again so they'll be working on it tomorrow! I told them I needed a good structure and run up by March 19th, because I should have at least 2 pullets coming home with me from Monroe. (I had previously contacted Pips&Peeps about them, waiting for follow-up.)
Heading out soon to stock up on beer and ingredients to start a 20 hour kahlua pig so my guys have pulled pork sandwiches tomorrow while they're working. I need to keep them fed and hydrated so they work faster!
