    I got the 3G29 complete brooder element, wafer therm & all right here in one unit, $73 + shipping..works FANTASTIC!!!!!!
    Bolt it onto the top of a cabinet (a metal lid is recommended but it never gets really hot...

    makes a fantastic incubator !!!!!!!!!!

    DH added a computer fan, and, the turner from the feedstore..works so good!!!!!!

    I just talked to CR, and he is at home, and getting DW settled & making dinner.
    His heart looks OK, and he is tired but will log on later & tell ya all about it.
    I gotta go do the same, think I have the intestinal flu....OK later guys !

    RFF: what is the heat source in the incubators, just a light bulb ? [​IMG]
    FYI: I made a cabinet incubator using part of one of those big boxes I am using in my garden, remember those ?
    DH built a door, I bought the same egg turners at the feed store, and went on line, and for $75 (I think) I ordered the replacement element & thermostst for a GQF brooder.
    DH screwed it to the top and presto!
    A GQF hatching incubator.
    I will post a link...

    It has a light bulb and a wafer or two and a fan....
