Well after trying to do my best raising 4 children belonging to 2 "donors". Let me tell you from my experience some of the hardest things on kids is Divorce and (lets just say) low quality donor dads. The father of the last 2 lived less than 5 miles away and the kids would tell us how many weeks and days since a birthday or christmas etc and thier dad (and I use the term loosly) hadn't even called. It was really tough for me to not get in his face but he was thier dad and I did not want to risk making things worse for the kids, who by thier choice and his anger call me dad. That drove him nutz and I thought it was great. So yes ladies the children can be trying at times but most times there is an underlying problem causing them to act out.
Best of luck to those struggling with this.
