I have a lodge and hate it. It is enameled, but the enamel chips off. Mom got a nice one (not sure what brand) at a thrift store. Ineed to look for a good used one.

My wife wants some enameled ones.

Yeah...LS, cochins and Orps...all high maintenance for sure!

I love my Sumatras. Basically, I wash their legs, feet and nails with an old tooth brush. Trim the sharpest points off their nails, baby oil their combs and they're done! LOL

Same with the Javas and Buckeye!
I would bring my Java cockeral, but he has 1 bent toe....next batch I will bring, I am shooting for colored birds!

Got my Brinsea Eco about 2 hours ago.

It was supposed to be here yesterday but when it didn't show they "updated" the shipping info to show delivery today. No matter, it's here! Hmm, what kind of eggs to look for first? On a side note, for some reason I received a notice from eBay about some hatching eggs and when I went to look noticed that another auction for SIX chocolate orpingtons was ending soon and the bid was up to $615! I understand they are new and rare, but holy moley.

I hurt my back...I got my onions in the mail today and planted all of them......100
50 Red Torpedoes (though my Dad says he has not had good luck with them here..
and 50 Candy yellows, which we have found do excellent here, and incidently are fantastic keepers.
Then as the sun went down, I noticed HORDES of no -see-ums hatched & swarming.Dang I really could live without the no-see-ums this year! They do love good moist compost so I am a dead woman there.........

I bet she is working hard on the trees & green house since it was relatively nice today....
Usually if I over work my back (weeks ago) it straightens itself out again, this time it isn't..............for the last week it has hurt, and now I think I may need a chiropractor...dang I hate to do that....I cannot take NSAIDs as it irritates my celiac disease...it is really applesauce when you get hurt and cannot take any drugs to help!!

Still no word on T-His blood tests either ??
