Thank you rainplace for the e-motions. I had been looking for them a couple of days ago, and I was a little overwhelmed with all the sites. I didn't know what sites were safe. Thanks again. The Chow-chow is doing pretty good. I took her the Vet today. He doesn’t think that she will live very much longer. I think there has been a lot of damaged done to her because no one was feeding anything but really low cost dog food. I am hoping that she will perk up even more now that I have her one a grain free diet. At least she will be happy, well fed, and warm in the house with the people, for whatever life she has left. I really think your husband is wrong on the dog thing.

I am sure that you could have one of the 7 dogs that are now living with me.

weaveagarden Way to go on the eggs. I love for omelet plans. If I bring my own eggs will you make me one? The food at your house must be really good.

I love Asiago cheese. I make lace cups using the cheese. They are delicious.

Kim your coup is adorable. I love the curtains. I like the idea of the litter boxes for nesting boxes. My coop still has some things that I would like to change on it. It is really hard to clean. I like the idea of a trap door in the floor. Thanks for the ideas.

Nyrial I am really glad that you are OK. You need to get pictures of the coup that you are hoping to build this weekend. I would love to see them. I hope the Holiday goes well for all.

I also got 8/12 eggs today that is the most eggs in a day ever for the girls that are old enough to be laying. I hadn’t been counting the 2 new hens that I picked up in Battle Ground last week. They are 9 months old so I guess I should start count

I've got one you can have. He's about 18 months old and made me crazy all summer getting into the chicken pasture and fighting with my roos and trying to breed the hens. I'd eat him, but the only one who is intersted is my 9-year old and I'm not going to that much trouble for something he may or may not eat.

If you are serious, I will take him. It may take me a little bit to figure out how to get hime down here. PM me your contact info, I will send mine. We can talk after Thanksgiving. Thanks very much.

WOW everybody must be staying home. This place is really busy today. I had a busy day today and haven't been on since about 6 this am. When I came on tonight I had 5 pages to catch up.

Christina Bugs and Woody are dooin great. Bugs is quite the little ball of fire. She really keeps Woody in his place. They get very vocal when I go in the barn and call thier names.

HERE IS WISHING EVERYBODY A HAPPY THANKSGIVING. AND A SAFE TRIP TO AND FROM WHERE EVER YOU MAY BE TRAVELING.
Rob and Diane

Thank you for the update on the OEB's. The last week or so that they were here, every time I went out the garage I talked to them, and used their names.
It's nice to know that they seem to get what we humans are doing to take care of them. I hope you and Diane have a very nice holiday. Christina

'93 Taurus w/snow tires - $50 (Kingston)

The first person to take this CURSE out of my life gets a cookie.

Blue '93 taurus. Automatic. Good interior, exterior, windshield. Never been wrecked that I know of.
Starts, runs, drives... sort of.
Has brand new battery, snow tires in truck.
Needs new power steering pump/rack.
Has new power steering pump in trunk.

I am seriously selling this car for fifty bucks. Because I HATE IT. It has been in my yard for 6 months. It cost me two-hundred dollars and I never drive it because it gets TERRIBLE gas milage (20mpg) and the power steering is basically screwed - it still steers and is safe to drive, just without power steering assist.

Make me an offer. I'd probably take $20 and a funny hat. Or a nice pocketknife. I'd definitely trade it for any kind of rifle or shotgun, working or not. A nice wool coat would also be considered.
I'm completely serious. I just want to get rid of this thing.

I'll even pick you up at the ferry if you have to come over from Seattle.
onsense, I work at a bakery, and I'll give you a free cookie if you take this car out of my life.

Serious inquiries by email only.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Dinner at Mom and Dad's today! Out to dinner with son, Scot and dil Shannon on Saturday! Cleaning and rebuilding coop all times over this holiday weekend other. Take care and drive safely all!

So there is a lot of egg songing going on in my coop this morning. I am starting to think that my 3 green eggs may possibly have been from 2 of my ee types. And then when I opened my coop this morning, I had a brown egg just being layed by my Barred Rock, Roz.

It is a perfectly shaped little pullet egg. Roz is a "Rock" star.

Does it happen like this often, that multiple hens start to lay at once. (Is it like human women getting on the same cycle?) I sure hope so. I would love to have several of them laying at this point. I could have more than one omlet a week.

I ended up making fried eggs last night. I decided I wanted to really taste it. My 3 little pullet eggs barely made up a single large egg size. I think it would take at least 9 to make a decent omlet. But I am not complaining. it was heaven to eat my own chicken's eggs.

EGG UPDATE:

Audrey my white laced pumpkin colored EE just laid a beautiful almost "small" sized light olive colored egg. Now we are getting some size. That makes 3 girls starting to lay within 3 days of each other. Amazing. A total of 5 eggs in 3 days. I am such a happy girl! At this rate I will be able to invite someone over to have a shared extra large size omlet.... Maybe this will improve my love life.... Hmmmmmm

I will have to think about that.

Congrats on the eggs weaveagarden. The next problem is:

What the heck am I gonna do with all these eggs?

Imp-I only get 1-2 eggs a day and I can't eat them all.

Happy Thankgiving Night Washington
