No you didnt cook it. I leave chicks in the incubator when others are still hatching. Something was just not right with it. Im sorry if you need a chick for it Im have a hatch on Mon -Tue they are marans cross's.

Haller I'm not sure if Brabanthers are delicate or what I candled the eggs this morning since they are late now and 1 was alive and kicking. I hope it hatches tonight.

I will be researching the hatchablity of this breed now since they made me question my skills

The other eggs I hatched at the same time hatched 10 chicks and left 4 behind... will pull them in a couple days if they still show nothing.
So I have a few EE's and a few SQ parents mixed flock..

I'm keeping the pures to grow a bit

Issaquah has a nice market, but it's crowded, so I avoid it. It is at the Pickering Place barn across from Costco and they have both outdoor and indoor booths.

I love the North Bend Farmers Market. It is small, the season is waay too short, but they always have a live band. On Thursdays we a grab a blanket and some chairs, and enjoy the music with our friends while eating food from the market. They used to have someone come each week with a boiuncy houase and slide or other inflatables. Buy your kid a wrist band for $2, let the kids run and play while the parents have time to relax.

Thanks for the info, I was signed up to do the Issaquah one a few years back. But couldnt do it. I will look into the North Bend one sounds like a nice one.

Auburn has had one the last two years but it's pretty tiny. It's at the train station on Sundays. We bought eggs from a lady there and she indicated they weren't doing that well with sales. Might not be a good one to try.

Thank you for the info that was one I was thinking of doing..

lol So far the only dreams with cravings have been about coca cola. I quit drinking soda two weeks ago, and the cravings are worse than the nicotine. lol

Am I arse backwards or what!?

Thanks to everyone else for all the tips and well wishes!

I think our kids can sometimes be a great motivator to help us quit smoking. Years ago I used to have ONE occasional cigarette outside late at night after my DD had gone to bed. One day she found the cigarette butts in the backyard and instead of asking me about it, chose to have an emotional break down at school where my aunt was the principal. When my aunt asked her what the problem was, DD exclaimed that she found out I was smoking and didn't want me to get sick. Again, instead of calling me, she told my aunt that she would feel more comfortable telling her Grandma, (my Mom.) So they called my mother who happened to be in her vacation home in Arizona who told DD not to worry about it because she would talk to me when she got home. And she did. The day after she returned from AZ she called me over to tell me I'd better quit smoking. I never had a chance. But, I also haven't had a single cigarette since.

Hang in there Cheryl! There are so many good reasons to not smoke and so many benefits to quitting!

People who eat a poor diet, ie. all processed and fast food (full of fillers and junk anyway).

Ebay is the last place Id get eggs from. Well it woul dbe a close last between MPC and a lot of other places. Thers no repurcussions form ebay, they only have to get most of the eggs to you UNBROKEN and taht is all their obligation.

I bet I could swab a healthy vegetarian and find Staph.... and I'm usually very opposed to betting.

Think about it,.. almost anywhere you buy eggs there is no repurcussion except for feedback. There are some good sellers on ebay. She mentioned pendenescas... I know a couple people from here who don't sell many auctions for their pendenescas here, but do sell them on ebay.

BTW,.. if ReiMiraa is looking for some very high quality eggs,.. CMSDVM has some AWESOME polish eggs up. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=471762

Ms. Cindy's darn Fine Poultry was at our Farmers Market once. She was selling eggs at $5 per dozen, and she sold out quickly (NorthBend Market Thursday afternnons). I know a lot of people were dissappointed that she never returned.

Puyallup? I think that one is pretty busy... I haven't actually gone - have always planned too. So that info is second hand:)

I'd be willing to bet that the highest concentration of staph is in the hospitals. They are loaded with it. Hospitals a full of sick people. Every bacteria and germ you can think of. DH got a staph infection at the hospital. If you are visiting make sure you touch as little as possible and wash your hands a lot. A spray bottle of bleach solution probably not a bad idea!
