The earlier T-post driver accidently smacked in the head and knocked out on the ground, was our girl Cheryl98117.........poor kid was 'blurry' for days afterwards.
Cheryl is tall too!
But pounded down and caught the driver on the side of the wire notch and the driver rang her bell good!!

Not funny then at all.

Oh, sorry. I was thinkingg that was you that got knocked out. I knew that someone got their "bell rung" good. Very dangerous.

CL: Wanted to let you know that Matilda has integrated into the flock pretty good. She still gets pecked on a bit...but she is making progress. She is already squatting for the roo. Last night she could not figure how to get back into the big run/coop and I came out the back door and she saw me and just came-a-runnin.....squawking and talking and telling me whatfor because she could not figure it out. It was hilariious. She has SOOOOO much personality. I gave her a good pet then I walked her around and showed her where the door was open and gave her a nice escort in. I don't even think she thanked me....I think she was more complaining about something. Silly bird.

Well, Sophie and Juliet...still very juvenile and the big birds really pick on them. I put them in the coop at night because the nights are pretty cool, but put them back in the little girl run for the day. I had the "chick-n-hut" for them to keep warm, but they got booted for Hannah and the new babies. I need another small coop...and I have in mind what I am going tto use from around here. Sophie and Juliet are doing well. Juliet is pretty timid and skittish. She steps on her leg feathers at times and it makes her mad. Dale comments on how Sophie (the gray one) has the face of a hawk. She is so pretty. DD works with them regularly and goes and gives them treats, but they are minimally interested, but are learning.

Yeah I had a gnarly concussion, a head ache for two weeks, and a lump where it impacted for about 4 months. Definately NOT something I would ever wish on someone! And DO NOT want to ever experience again! The ER bill alone about killed me.
