just sent a resume and called a person about a summer job internship.... had to leave a message on the answering machine.

i hate calling and leaving messages... i think it started out strong then i ran out of steam.... shows how much experience i have in job application.....

now to catch up on homework and then meet some classmates in 2 hours for biology exam studying.

cool I think I'll get it! Thank you!

So who has it at the price you quoted earlier. I would love one too, but I think that I am going to have to resist the thought for now.

I got it at Strombergs. They are having a sale on Brinsea incubators, the prices they have already include shipping and handling, and from what I can tell these incubators are quite expensive. I had looked at the Genesis hovabator with turner but, the prices I found with shipping ect was about the same and my impression is that the brinsea brand may be a little better?
heres the address www.strombergschickens.com
I'm really excited to start incubating eggs myself. I have a few things left to do to start my new coop and brooder room, but, in the mean time I'm researching and watching this forum for good info!!!

You should try calling a non-emergency line at your police station. If the person is wanted, and they are staying with you or your close family, then you or the family will subject to harboring a fugitive at the least.

no they wont get in trouble for harboring a fugitive. there is a lot more to it than just letting someone in your house before that charge is even thought about. I sent a PM. I used to have some links for background checks on here...will look for them.

There is websites online..and if you have comcast, there is TV videos the cops run on wanted people, On Demand Channels.
You have to find out where the guy is from..then look on that web site.
OR maybe snap his picture (pretend you are taking someone else's picture while he is in it...write down his description, and show it all to the police, and surf the wanted web sites.
In the mean time, keep the creep away !

he emailed me back letting me know he recieved my information on my (very short) resume.
he even remembered i met him last spring this time when i applied then. i ended up having summer classes and that conflicted with any summer jobs......
so hopefully its a good thing he remembers me and remembers how inquisitive i was about his research and agriculture in general.
organic is not my focus but it has some good methods to be employed.

this is research into organic weed management... currently there are no organic approved herbacides.... so there is a great interest in alternative controls... apparently tree fruit has a very low root density ... at best 1 root per square inch... so competing against many weeds easily stresses the plant.

so tomorrow i will have mom harass GQF because it appears they have lost her order....

i want to get it so i can run a test batch, get better eggs and use my own and then sneak in dewlap toulouse eggs (if i ever find any...)

I have 2 Genesis 1588 and just love it. It is as fool proof as they come. The temp in my house goes up & down 10+*F and it doesn't affect the incubator a bit. The 1588 also holds 42 eggs and has holes you can slip water into the bator, but I just lift up the lid, do what I need and plop the lid back on. The temp returns to 99.5*F without the "egg thermonmeter" even flinching. If you are going to spend $200 on a bator, I recomend looking at the genesis 1588. This is not the LG that seems to have a mind of its own.
There was a BYC thread on what is the best table top incubator and that is how I ended up with mine.
Have fun.

Well my Sweetie Pie is home...all is right with the world and now I can say goodbye to hogging the entire bed & sleeping all through the night.........DH snores like someone trying to start a chain saw not quite out of gas.

I just found out from Boldog that they are going to let her coop in early Saturday and coop out late Saturday so she does not have to stay the night........next time that is what I will do.
Plus save $ for this show.
I think we will be driving down Saturday to at least see the show although I will not be bringing my Javas until next time.
next time I will have Rocks, and Buckeye, and Javas to show.
MOT will not show again, but a son & daughter will.
