mean mean birds.

I think out of all the birds I have around here Starlings are THE single most disliked!

We had a pair come back and rip open an area in my eves, they are now nesting in it. I thought for sure that putting up a new pannel after stuffing the hole they created with steel whool, would keep them out. NO! That didnt work! They managed to get back in there between my double roof! Now there is a nest again. How on earth do I get rid of them!!! I dont even want to think about the mess that will be found once we can get IN that area of the roof... Im sure its full of all sorts of nasty stuff, and cant be good for us.

Am I gonna have to wait until they are done nesting, and try to close it up again more securely? Or is there something I can do about it now?

I wait till they go outside then I staple a fine wire mesh over the hole. I also put one of those ultra sonic speakers up there.
While you are up there, you might want to try putting a fake snake or something that hangs over the eves. LOL

Then for good measure, I aslo put a few of those BIG mouse snaps up there...just in case their friends want to try stealing that "nest" and give it a go.

Yes lemon grass. It is great for preventing cancer. Somehow it is able to cause cancer cells to kill each other.

It is something that is recomended for patienst going through chemo. PM me your address and I'l send you some. Doesn't hurt to enjoy this tea anyhow.

May be we both are. I had pass out issues off and on since I was a teen. This last one started with me getting out of bed cuz I had a horrible pain in my stomache then I said "oh god"

When I was 14, I started to have Black outs and dizzy spells, along with massive Migraines. I would be walking down the hall at school, and would just slump over and colapse. They never figured out what the issue was, and to this day I still have these episodes from time to time. then when I was 17, I was put through massive amounts of tests, and again the big tubular thumping machine, they found a mass at the base of my skull, actually right in the same spot that this supposed scar tissue is. But then two weeks later in the same machine, the mass was gone.

Ive had all sorts of unknown health issues throughout my life, had LOTS of scares, and some not so horible. Im still here, kicking and fighting.

Ever test you for Mononucleosis ?
That is probably what you had, not Hep.

I took Prada to the equine dentist last thursday. He checked her out, and said she doesnt need a float. He also checked where she ripped out two teeth a little over a month ago. She's all healed up from that too. No signs of wolf teeth iether coming in yet. so I will have her checked again next spring, when he "the dentist" is back on this side of the mountains.

Thanks for the oppinion RedReiner!

oh hec!! ripped out two teeth?? they were probably sore for a while and now that they are healed up maybe she will chew up her food and put some weight back on for you. its frustrating trying to figure out why they wont put weight on when you do everything you can think of, I feed alfalfa, grass hay has never put enough weight on when I fed it, but I have a mare that drops her topline no matter how much I feed her, but give her grass hay all winter on a pasture...it fills right in. *sigh*

I switched Prada and Lacy to Timothy about 2 months ago now I think... Teagan gets fat on air so he still gets grass hay. Little pig that he is. lol

Yeah Prada ripped out the front rear teeth. She freaked out when my sister loaded Lacy into the trailor for a trail ride. She grabbed ahold of my 6' no climb fencing, braced all four legs and pulled back like a dog would when playing tug o' war. She ripped the right tooth out herself, I had to extract the second tooth with pliers myself...

My sister about passed out, my cousin was so stressed she got a bloody nose, and I about puked when I pulled the tooth...

Dr. Hill "my Vet" prescribed antibiotics for 10 days, bute for 3, and twice daily rinsing for the 10 days of meds... THAT was fun. NOT! I was the only person that Prada would let touch her mouth. she's such a big mammas girl. lol She's all healed up, just gotta have some exrays done in a few weeks to make sure there are no fragments. The equine dentist looked at her mouth and said that he couldnt have done a better extraction himself!

Im not sure if they did or not. Bremerton harrison Memorial Hospital, doesnt exactly have the best trac reccord. I always try to go to the Silverdale campus, as they are much more thorough and less crouded. I was also so sick that I dont really remember an entire lot from the end of 2005 and the beginning of 2006... I think I about lost an entire months worth of memory from that episode... Sorry dont know what else to call it.

Edited because my brain isnt functioning right and I forgot to finish what I was saying...

It could have been alot of things, mostly auto-immune related, which would explain how it "disapeared"
Were you sick before with a flu ?
Like Epstein-Barr ?
Oh well, it is over now...but it would be nice to connect the dots.
I gotta run, "see" ya all tomorrow!
