Hi all,

I'm in NE Seattle and I have two roosters and a hen I need to find a home for. I'd keep the hen but I don't like the idea of keeping only on chicken. They are all super sweet but we can't keep roosters in the city. They are white cochin bantam frizzles. Only one of the roos shows the frizzle feather the other two are flat- but if they breed some of the chicks will frizzle.

Send an email if interested

Thanks,
Angela

I don't think you have any reason to apologize - I love seeing the chick pics! Those are very cute. I go into lock down on Tuesday - I am SO excited! So you can always send more photos my way.

You know what. If I was to ever go. I would not want to go to the beach! Well at least not the entire time, I would rather go inland and look around. If you stay at the beach you will miss 95 percent of what the islands have to offer!

I'm sort of the opposite: my idea of a perfect tropical vacation would be to bury myself in warm sand and stay there until the sun went down and it cooled off, perhaps getting up at noon to dunk in the ocean and cool down. This may be a result of chronic joint pain, but anyway...

ok guys, I need help building my own candler. I have to candle my hatch tomorrow and have been trying several different flashlights to do it without success. I'm using infertile eggs to look. I have an idea, I have a sensy candle, the electric light that melts the wax. I took the light bulb that came with it out, and need to replace it with something that is strong enough to look through of course and not cook the egg. Then I put a clay pot over the top not a big pot just big enough to cover the sensy. The question is, the bulb I'm using is not strong enough to look through dark eggs, its a small decorative bulb looks like a candle flame, I'm not sure what the watts are? ( I just found it in a stash). The sensy has a small receptacle for the bulb, so it has to be small??? Anyone have any ideas?? I think it will work if I get the right bulb, I can look through an infertile egg kind of, not clear enough tho to see the air sak, course, I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking at either! I wonder if I'm even making sense!! lol!

So, I'll put in my 2 cents in hopes that it is just to clarify and not to offend! I respect everyone here and their beliefs and would never purposely hurt anyone.

"Church"(according to the Bible) is not a building. Church is defined as a group of people. 1 Corinthians 12:13,14
Church was (and should be) just people getting together to learn about what God has done for us through his Son Jesus Christ and to praise and thank Him for that.
We(the church) are also supposed to be a support system for each other. Life is hard and we need each other to vent to, ask questions of, and just to tell us we are loved and appreciated and missed when we are not around.
The building is only for convenience. Man has turned it into something it was never meant to be.

I do believe that that in order to support one another that you should meet regularly (Hebrews 10:25) but it should not be about "duty or obligation"; it should be because you want to.
Sorry if I have offended anyone, it was not my intent to do so.

Now,unless someone has Q's, I'll shut-up about it!

I didnn't know how to say all this, you did a good job. I am fairly new as a Christian, but I do find my peace and tranquility in many ways....and one of them is through my chickens. Very entertaining. Also, I still think that God has a sense of humor.

Well said broody!!

I use a mini led maglight. Super bright, comes with a rubber cap, and the eggs just happen to fit perfectly on it. So far I have been able to see through even the Marans eggs in my incubator.
