Well, I'm in contact with the woman in Tacoma with the BLRW hen; I don't expect her to keep it until Saturday, which is the easiest feasible date I can get more chickens, and that's with building a very quick quarantine pen, possibly out of a farrowing crate, eek!

Actually got the new coop within striking distance of getting done, although I'm more than a little tempted to go to Home Depot and get all the plywood cut there. It would probably be cheaper than paying my hired help to do it, and leave me the big sheet of plywood for the fifty other places I can use it.

VERY warm afternoon, got the shades drawn and the fans on to get the winter dust and smells out!
