We needed to restock the refrigerator with eggs so, they have all been getting washed and put away and eaten!

Today was a pretty good day for me. Got more done on the RIRB coop/run and then since the weather was so nice I went out and played with my bees. IT was so nice just me and them on a nice sunny day. The first hive is my package from last year they are doing good and I found the queen. Then on to the second hive. This was a joint effort by combining 3 weak colonies They have made it through winter (

surprise) They are live but thats about it. I didn't find the queen but there are eggs properly set which shows she has been there within 3 days. I think they will make it but not produce much this year.
